Batch is pioneering a new way for consumers to use their phones to interact with brands. We are building infrastructure for brand engagement in physical environments and creating a new form of contextual shopping.
Using QR codes, NFC-enabled tags, and SMS links, brands integrate Batch into packaging, products, marketing campaigns, and physical environments to capture high-intent engagement from customers.
We are experiencing a significant shift in the ways that consumers engage and shop with their phones, with 73% of e-commerce now happening on mobile devices. Batch unlocks the power of your phone to help you order from or engage with the products and brands that you love, in the most efficient way possible.
Everything we build is optimized for speed, simplicity, and a feeling of magic.
Our core product integrates directly with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, to enable a truly painless way to reorder with Apple and Google Pay. In addition to replenishment, our gifting and sampling features let customers buy or claim gifts in 10 seconds.
And the Batch platform is flexible — brands can route to any URL, including other apps and channels like DoorDash, Amazon, and GoPuff. Batch aims to be the de facto tool used by brands to engage customers on mobile — whether from a QR code, NFC tag, or SMS link.
Batch is backed by Coatue, 776 (Alexis Ohanian), Shrug Capital, Ryan Hoover, The Chainsmokers, and many others.

About the Role
Batch has both B2B and B2C components — we sell our software to companies and brands that want to make it easier for their customers to order products. In Summer 2022, we’re launching a self-service web platform.
With 100 brands like RISE Brewing, First Person, Aura Bora, Curie, and Super Coffee using the Batch platform, we are looking to hire a creative, independent growth marketer to experiment with us and find new ways to drive our next 1000 signups.
In your first 180 days, you’ll…
Design, test, and scale campaigns. Test both organic and paid marketing experiments to identify the best channels to reach Batch’s target customers. Scale the ones that work.
Own targets around both paid signups and CAC. Bring visibility to our marketing funnel with dashboards and reporting, and advocate for what you need to hit your goals. Build an initial playbook for brand acquisition that can help us drive 1000 brand signups.
Figure out where to reach our customers. Test emerging channels like Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts to reach our target audience. Potentially explore real-world retail pop-up concepts to showcase Batch’s technology.
Take ownership of every part of the pre-signup customer journey. Find creative ways to capture leads. Work with platform team to design email re-engagement loops to maximize conversion from lead to trial to paid signup.
Collaborate cross-functionally. Work with our product and design team to enhance our brand externally. Help with projects outside of your defined job description as needed.
Integrate with our product team. Use new feature launches to engage and re-engage customers with compelling content that leads to increased usage. Be a voice for the customer in our product prioritization workflow, based on what you learn about the market
